Title: Payroll Administrator

Location: Charles City, VA

Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Review and verify timesheets for accuracy for over 100 employees.
  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly/monthly basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and overtime.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding wages and deductions.
  • Ensure payroll taxes, garnishments, and other deductions are accurately calculated and processed.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and audits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3-5 years of payroll administrative experience.
  • Accounting experience.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
