Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Charles City, VA
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Review and verify timesheets for accuracy for over 100 employees.
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly/monthly basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and overtime.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding wages and deductions.
- Ensure payroll taxes, garnishments, and other deductions are accurately calculated and processed.
- Assist with payroll reporting and audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years of payroll administrative experience.
- Accounting experience.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Previous experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
