Remote Grant Writer

The Remote Grant Writer will maximize financial support to develop responses to operator management opportunities and seek foundation and government grants. The Grant Writer will support business development goals.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop interim and final grant reports.

  • Prepare project budgets and write budget narratives

  • Research, identify and qualify funding opportunities.

  • Initiate communication with staff.

  • Develop a deep understanding of program content.

  • Manage efficient operational systems.

  • Ensure accurate records and timely communication with funders.

  • Oversee grants calendar and maintain up-to-date database records.

  • Support fundraising for summer learning and STEM programs.

  • Develop materials that show progress of programs for donor updates and ongoing communications.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of writing proposals.

  • A background in public education and grant writing is highly preferred.

  • At least 3-4 years of professional writing and project management experience.

  • Able to analyze and synthesize data and information from multiple sources.
