Seeking a Welder for a custom, metal design company. As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding custom products. In addition to welding, you will be grinding, hammering, and at times installing at the customer’s location.

Benefits of the Welder / Welder Fabricator position:

• Starting Wage: $14.00 - $16.00 an hour DOE
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm
• This is a “direct-hire” position and not a “temp”.

Responsibilities of the Welder / Welder Fabricator position:

• MIG, stick and arc weld custom metal products. This is not a production or structural position. Plan on working off a new blue print for every piece you are fabricating.
• Plan on working on projects for commercial, agricultural, residential, repair work and custom orders.
• Grinding and finishing of materials.
• Loading & unloading of metal parts.
• Mostly fabricate pieces in shop but many times plan on installing on location
• Maintain cleanliness in all parts of the shop.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Required experience for the Welder / Welder fabricator position:

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ welding experience preferred. Will also consider recent welding program completions.
• Previous MIG welding experience is required. Stick, arc and dual shield experience helpful but not a requirement.
• Experience working off of blue prints, drawings and cut sheets.
• Previous field installation experience helpful but not required.
• Experience working with grinders, powered hand tools and burn tables preferred.
• Must have customer service experience and excellent communication skills to be able to speak with clients while onsite.
