Do you like a wide variety of inspection duties and quality control projects? A growing high-precision manufacturer specializing in aerospace parts is looking for a Sr. Aerospace Quality Inspector.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a well-rounded mechanical inspection and quality control background in a tight tolerance manufacturing & fabrication environment with practical experience in manual inspection and record keeping. Experience in a ISO9001 or a AS9100 environment is required and CMM operation, set-up, calibration and programming with PCDMIS is required

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Starting Wage: $34.00 - $38.00 an hour DOE with a monthly bonus potential.
This is a "direct-hire" opportunity and not a "temp" or "contract-to-hire" position

Responsibilities for the Sr. Aerospace Quality Assurance / Quality Inspector position include:
Reads blueprints, specifications and instructions to determine the quality requirements for the product.
Performs & documents First-Article, In-process and Final Inspections, communicates required
adjustments to production personnel, releases finished product for delivery.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications for the Sr. Aerospace Quality Assurance / Quality Inspector position include:
Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME 14.5-2009) is required
Previous CNC machine shop inspection experience is required and CMM programming & set up experience required
PCDMIS programming experience is preferred..
Working knowledge of welding symbols is desired
Experience in preparing AS9102B First Article Inspections Reports
Proficient with precision manual measuring instruments
Owning a set of calipers and micrometers based on your experience.
Proven experience and proficiency as a mechanical quality inspector
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
ISO9001 or a AS9100 Certification preferred
