CNC Machinist / Milling Machinist

Immediate need for an experienced high-precision production CNC Milling Machinist. This is a “direct-hire” opportunity for a M-F 2nd shift position. You will be responsible for machine set-up, edit and programming at a FANUC controller on vertical & horizontal Haas milling centers in an ISO certified shop.

  • Starting wage: $30.00 - $32.00 an hour DOE + a 10% Shift Differential.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:30pm – 1:00am with Overtime available.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist / Milling Machinist position:

  • Set up, program and operate cnc milling center production machines on a high-volume production floor.
  • Edit or create programs at a FANUC controller
  • Create high tolerance parts in place of high quantity parts.
  • Perform adjustments to machinery to keep process within specification.
  • Determine and prepare tooling, fixtures and special machine attachments.
  • Read & interpret blueprints or drawings necessary to complete assignments.
  • Verify part conformance to specification with calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other manual measuring devices.

Qualifications for the CNC Machinist / Milling Machinist position:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years previous CNC Mill Machining experience in a high-quality or tight tolerance production environment. Prefer HAAS machine experience
  • Previous FANUC edit & programming experience is required.
  • Proven history of producing consistent high-quality parts with very low rejection rates in a production environment.
  • Proficient using manual measuring devices for inspection and adhere to quality control standards
  • Ability to perform your own set-ups & edits on the CNC Mill machines with a strong math background and GD&T knowledge.
  • Previous ISO 9001 requirements experience is required.
