Currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for a local commercial HVAC company with more than 30 years of being in business.

This is an excellent “direct-hire” opportunity for any experienced commercial service techs interested in a long-term career position with a reputable and extremely stable company.

Benefits for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician / Maintenance Mechanic position includes:

  • Starting Wage: $40.00 - $44.00 an hour DOE

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

  • This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract” position.

Primary Responsibilities of the HVAC Service Technician / Maintenance Mechanic include:

  • Perform installs, preventive maintenance, service, and troubleshooting for commercial HVAC systems in and around the Salt Lake area.

  • Maintain a clean and safe job site & work vehicle.

  • Assist other technicians with trouble shooting problems.

  • Complete parts/material inventories.

Minimum Qualifications for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician / Maintenance Mechanic include:

  • A minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience as a commercial HVAC Technician. Experience inspecting, troubleshooting and making repairs to code on commercial equipment.

  • Must be detail oriented in submitting paperwork and following work orders.

  • Must possess a current Utah Driver's license and have a good driving record.

  • OSHA-10 certification preferred.

  • Current Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certificate.

  • E.P.A. certified for refrigerant handling class I & II, or universal.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills along with superb customer service skills.

  • Ability to perform calculations necessary for HVAC work.

  • Knowledge of control systems is preferred.

  • Must have your own set of quality hand tools.
