Cyber Security Strategic Account Executive

Role: Senior Account Executive, Cyber Security technology sales: DNS services, DDoS protection, Application and Network Security, Threat Intelligence.

Responsibilities:

a) Sell to 20 targeted, net new, Fortune 250 accounts

b) Work in conjunction with an Account Manager for a separate, 20 existing clients. This secondary responsibility is much less of the emphasis from a compensation and time perspective, as compared to the primary responsibility of hunting net new accounts

Basic Requirements:

  • Proven, quota-carrying sales performance
  • 10+ years of solution sales experience selling security
  • Experience selling to Enterprises with annual revenues > $1b · Proven track record of selling $500+ size deals to Fortune 500 companies
  • Experience selling Software (Cloud/SaaS/On-demand/on premise) solutions to a select few large strategic enterprise accounts
  • Ability to sell C-Level and across both IT and business units
  • A proven track record of driving and closing enterprise deals Strong track record and history of carrying and exceeding a sales quota
  • Consistent over achievement of quota and revenue goals w/ a strong W2 track record of $250k+

  • Track record selling Enterprise software solutions (not cyber security appliances only)
  • Account planning and execution skills
  • Passion and commitment for customer success · Strong technical aptitude · Strong time management skills
  • Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's Degree

 

Candidate Acceptable Locations: any major USA hub

Travel: 50%, USA

Quota: $1m ACV per year (Annual Contract Value)

Sales Cycle: 1 – 12 months

Top producing sales team members earn: $500k+-
