Compensation:

  • $90k to $150k base salary (depends on candidate)
  • $180k to $300k OTE (depends on the candidate

Solution offering: Trade Management and pricing SaaS to help CPG companies improve return on investment in “Trade Spend”, incentives, coupons, local advertising, etc.. Improved timeliness and accuracy in seeing what trade spend is worthwhile and where to adjust to improve ROI

Target audience: CPG finance, marketing, operations, sales

Competition: incomplete/insufficient ERP systems, select purpose-built direct competitors, and the displacement of internally strung together solutions

Deal Size:

  • $150k+ in annual subscription value for middle market
  • $750k - several million for enterprise
  • $200k- $500k for initial set up

Sales cycle: 3-9 months

Candidate Criteria:

  • Ideal candidate successfully sold trade promotion and pricing management software to food and food service industry
  • Alternative profile 'A' candidate sold ERP, business intelligence, supply chain, analytics, etc. to food service industry
  • Alternative profile 'B' candidate sold trade promotion/pricing software to CPG industry

Additional must have criteria:

  • Track record for prospecting, qualifying, and closing net 5 -10 net new clients per year, selling software at $150k+ per deal
  • Recent and deep track record of quota achievement
  • Hands on experience with developing ROI, RFP’s, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Travel up to 30%
