Scope of the Job:

This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer and will be based at corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY. The Vice President of Talent Acquisition will oversee enterprise-wide talent acquisition efforts, including the design and implementation of innovative strategies that will help attract and hire highly qualified employees. The incumbent will manage a team of recruiters, talent sourcing specialists, and directors of talent acquisition. You will craft innovative sourcing strategies for various roles, from entry-level to executive-level positions.

 

You will:

Be responsible for all recruitment activities. You will formulate and recommend recruiting policies and objectives for the enterprise.

 

Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the candidate experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.

 

Oversee and improve the overall candidate experience.

 

Ensure that all employment practices are administered fairly and without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, amnesty, or veteran status in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

 

Design and execute recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate and recruit highly qualified candidates.

 

Proactively identify and address hiring needs.

 

Evaluate and refine sourcing and selection procedures.

 

Manage a team of recruiters and provide assistance as needed.

 

Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates.

 

Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs.

 

Organize recruitment events to establish a strong employer brand.

 

Participate in the company’s strategic planning regarding employee development and engagement.

 

Research and recommend new sourcing tools and recruiting software (e.g. ATS).

 

Ensure proper onboarding and training for new hires.

 

Candidate Requirements:

We seek a seasoned Talent Acquisition executive with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

 

We seek a Talent Acquisition executive with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, and a master's degree (MBA) or equivalent is preferred. Additional certifications (e.g., CIPD or SPHR) are preferred.

 

Significant exposure to the process of developing or refreshing an employment brand with experience ensuring that this message is consistent across the organization.

 

Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing, and evaluation.

 

Familiarity with Candidate Management Systems and Human Resources software.

 

Good knowledge of labor legislation.

 

Compensation:

A compensation package will be designed to attract outstanding talent and will include a base salary, performance bonus, and an attractive benefits package.

Tracy’s experience includes executive recruitment, innovative sourcing techniques, candidate slate development, offer development and closure. Her extensive knowledge and experience provides a unique understanding of the challenges faced in HR and Talent Acquisition departments today. Tracy is a current member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Ms. Wolfe graduated from Concordia University – Austin, Magna Cum Laude with a BA, Human Resources Management.
