What You'll Do

Drive Financial Excellence:

• Lead month-end close processes with precision and efficiency
• Manage complex general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze manufacturing costs and provide insights to optimize operations
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation

Make Your Mark:

• Implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations
• Assist with annual audits and regulatory compliance
• Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business growth initiatives

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on manufacturing and cost accounting
• Food manufacturing industry experience required
• Expert-level proficiency in general ledger management and reconciliation
• Strong experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Must be able to work on-site in Emeryville

Ideal Candidate:

• CPA certification preferred
• Experience with inventory management and cost analysis in food production
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
