The Role - In a Nutshell
Need to jump into action IMMEDIATELY! We're seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative self-starter for a short-term (2-4 week) Administrative Assistant position. This key team member will provide crucial support for our foundation with responsibility for both physical and virtual office operations. Hybrid schedule with on-site work in our San Francisco office required! ???
What You'll Do ??
- Be the office superhero! ???? Maintain our foundation-wide calendar including Zoom links and physical locations
- Create a welcoming environment by managing office supplies, kitchen upkeep, and visitor experience
- Coordinate logistics for staff meetings and special events (both virtual and in-person) ?
- Interface with vendors and building management to keep everything running smoothly
- Provide critical support to our COO: manage calendar, create expense reports, and assist with correspondence
- Handle weekly invoice payment memos with meticulous attention to detail
- Support document and contract processes including proofreading and maintaining filing systems
What We're Looking For ??
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Microsoft Office wizard (especially Outlook for scheduling)
- Self-starter who anticipates needs before they arise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of formality
- Professional office experience with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to start IMMEDIATELY for this short-term assignment
- Mailchimp, WordPress, Zoom, and Photoshop skills are a plus!

- Schedule: Hybrid (some days in SF office required)
- Duration: 2-4 weeks, starting IMMEDIATELY
- Classification: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with excellent benefits package
