Position: Food Process Technician

Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania (or within 35 miles)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or Industrial Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in the Food industry
• Experience with Statistical Process Controls (SPC), Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence
• Knowledge of Commercial Baking, Quality, and Packaging.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor product specifications and control ingredients to ensure Quality
• Investigate and Solve technical issues related to recipe, ingredients, time, temperature, and humidity.
• Manage and Control: Engineering Change Notices, Product Deviations, Recipe Modifications, New Ingredients, and Supplier Qualifications.
• Support R&D Food Scientist with new product formulations and cost reduction efforts.
• Perform Pilot Test and Batch testing for New Product Development
