Position: Director of Supply Chain

Location: Silver Springs, Maryland area

The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for managing all supply chain operations including: raw materials, product packaging, and cold-chain shipping direct-to-consumer using third-party logistics (3PL). This includes developing and implementing strategies for sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution, as well as managing inventory levels and ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with a focus on Food, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical.

• Extensive knowledge of best practices in supply chain management, Procurement, Logistics, and Distribution

• Experience managing Procurement & Purchasing / Forecasting & Demand Planning / Inventory Management

• Hands-on with Contract Negotiations & Supplier Management / Managing Distribution & Third-Party Logistics (3PL)

• Manage Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management with Legal, Quality, Marketing, and Finance.
