On behalf of our client we are looking for a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the control room operations in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role involves monitoring and controlling various aspects of our production processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.

Location: Dar es Salaam

Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in a similar role is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production & Manufacturing, or a related field preferred

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and monitor control room equipment and systems to ensure smooth production processes.
• Maintain a constant watch over production parameters and equipment to address any issues or deviations promptly.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document and record production data accurately.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior operators or new hires.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality control procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production & Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of control room equipment and systems is an advantage.
