We are currently seeking a skilled Water Drill Operator to oversee and conduct drilling operations in water exploration and extraction projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operating drilling equipment and ensuring the efficiency and safety of drilling processes.

Education: A diploma / Degree is required

Experience: Proven experience as a water drill operator or similar role in water drilling operations

Location: Dar es Salaam

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and maintain drilling machinery used in water exploration and extraction.
• Monitor drilling progress and adjust techniques as needed to optimize efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations during all drilling operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and geology teams to interpret data and refine drilling strategies.
• Conduct routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Continuously monitor and report on drilling efficiency and potential improvements.
• Follow drilling plans and specifications, adjusting techniques as needed for optimal efficiency
• Interpret geological data and reports to make informed decisions during drilling operations.
• Collaborate with geologists and engineering teams to optimize drilling strategies based on geological formations.
• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of drilling rigs and related equipment.
• Comply with environmental regulations and minimize the impact of drilling activities on the surrounding area.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
• Handle and manage drilling fluids and materials required for drilling operations

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a water drill operator or similar role in water drilling operations.
• A diploma / Degree is required
• Proficiency in operating drilling machinery and equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in drilling operations.
• Ability to analyze and interpret drilling data for decision-making.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
