About the Client:

Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis who will play a key leadership role across the organization’s Finance Department. This role is highly visible and responsible for leading planning and providing broad decision support analysis to business leaders. Our Apparel client has had market success with its products that deliver an amazing experience to their consumers. Their ideal candidate has progressive FP&A experience within the CPG industry and currently holds a Director title or similar.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic thought partner serving as the right-hand to Head of Strategy and Financial Planning while supporting the CFO and Investor Relations
• Report to the VP of Finance with significant exposure to the CFO
• Work with the Strategy and FP&A team, with strong cross functional collaboration with accounting, brand teams, and supply chain organization
• Establish and maintain strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships to provide decision support and drive accountability
• Maintain and improve corporate financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) and operating expense plans, including the tracking of key investments and performance metrics
• Lead development of materials for management reviews and board of directors’ meetings
• Lead FP&A coordination with Supply Chain Finance
• Support essential decisions through ad-hoc analyses (e.g departmental P&Ls, magnitude and timing of infrastructure investment)
• Guiding continuous improvement efforts for the Company’s financial reporting systems, to ensure we can scale effectively as the company grows
• Be a core contributor to investor relations materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics
• At least 9 years of finance experience with increasing responsibility in core areas such as FP&A and Commercial Finance.
• Experience working at a CPG company is required.
• Experience working in a PE-Backed environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in building and developing high performing teams
• Intellectually curious and willing to ask constructive but probing questions to understand the business
• Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
