As the Director Total Rewards, you will design and manage the company’s benefits and compensation programs, responsible for executing strategies that align with organizational goals. You will lead initiatives encompassing compensation benchmarking, job architecture, salary planning, benefits program design and optimization, and proper administration of health and welfare, retirement, life insurance, and well-being programs.

Scope:
• Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with the organization's goals, objectives, and overall workforce strategy.
• Oversee the design, development, and administration of annual compensation programs, including base pay, performance-based incentives, sales incentives, LTIP, and bonus structures.
• Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure that compensation and benefits offerings are competitive within the industry and attract top talent.
• Partner with executive leadership to design, implement, and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee benefits.
• Oversee the open enrolment process and ensure benefits programs are properly administered and legally compliant.
• Serve as a key advisor and coach to the company’s executive leadership team regarding innovative benefits design
• Ensure the Benefits Team is responsive to employees’ needs by meeting established service level requirements.
• Prepare compensation recommendations for new hires and current employees, providing insight based on knowledge of relevant labor markets and internal equity
• Manage vendor relationships with benefits brokers and third-party administrators.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and laws governing compensation and benefits programs, minimizing legal and financial risk to the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, and finance, to address compensation and benefits-related issues, providing strategic guidance to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff.
Experience & Qualifications:
• B.A. in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, and administration management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful compensation and benefits programs.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations to business leaders effectively and concisely.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Broad and deep knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Expert in managing databases, Excel, pivot tables, charts and graphs.
• Flexibility to adapt to change and a genuine desire to always be learning.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required.
• A sense of humor and a balanced perspective- we work in HR after all.
Compensation/Budget: $170-210k plus bonus
