About the Role: We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Director, Corporate Finance & FP&A to join Summit Interconnect. This is an individual contributor role with significant visibility to all executives and VPs, requiring a strategic thinker who is also hands-on with data. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in validating financial data, preparing critical board materials, and driving the company's financial planning processes, especially as we navigate significant growth and potential future M&A activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, developing robust financial models that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Consolidate budgets for eight manufacturing facilities and prepare budgets for Corporate and all Cost Centers.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide insightful commentary and actionable insights to executive leadership and project teams.
- Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards to monitor business performance.
- Prepare comprehensive board slides, decks, and presentations for Board of Directors and investors, ensuring the current board deck (fully integrated into Adaptive, auto-fed by Direct labor and direct materials costs, and driven by an AI model) is accurately maintained and enhanced.
- Contribute to the development of annual operating plans.
- Lead forecasting efforts, adapting to the dynamic growth environment driven by factors like the CHIPS Act and quick-turn customer demands.
- Rigorously challenge financial data and verify its accuracy, ensuring integrity across all reporting.
- Provide financial modeling and analytical support for potential future M&A activities, which are highly probable given the company's growth strategy.
- Contribute to financial due diligence and integration planning as needed for acquisitions.
- Collaborate on enhancing financial processes and reporting within the fast-paced manufacturing environment.
