About the Client:

Our Retail client is seeking an experience FP&A Director who will play a key leadership role across the organization’s Finance Department. This role is highly visible and responsible for the Monthly Forecast and Revenue Forecasting. Their ideal candidate has progressive FP&A experience within the Multi-Site industry, preferably the CPG or Retail industry.

Responsibilities:

• Direct company-wide weekly, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process, managing the annual operating plan.
• Develop and implement multi-year financial plans covering sales, margin, discounting, inventory management, and overall business KPI’s across market channels.
• Establish and maintain strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships to provide decision support and drive accountability
• Provide insight and financial reporting on their retail stores and model the store’s P&Ls.
• Create budget templates in their Forecasting and Planning Software (SAP BPC).
• Establish seasonal financial targets at the brand and channel level that support delivery of the brand's long term goals by partnering with cross-functional leaders.
• Maintain and improve corporate financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) and operate expense plans, including the tracking of key investments and performance metrics.
• Identify and research variances across forecast, budget, and prior-year data, proactively surfacing opportunities for improvement.
• Lead development of materials for management reviews and board of directors’ meetings
• Support essential decisions through ad-hoc analyses (e.g departmental P&Ls, magnitude and timing of infrastructure investment)
• Provide regular and ad hoc support to the executive team including Quarterly Board meeting materials, earnings call preparation, strategic offsites, etc.
• Guiding continuous improvement efforts for the Company’s financial reporting systems, to ensure we can scale effectively as the company grows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• Experience working at a Multi-Site company (25+ locations) is required.
• Experience working in CPG or Wholesale Company is preferred.
• Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
• Strong Excel skills
