Responsible for public company financial reporting (including SEC, FSMA, or other statutory reporting requirements)
Responsible for the timely consolidation of the financial results of all business entities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Collaborate with the management team on the analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance against budget including reporting key variances to senior management.
Assist with various technical accounting entries, including leasing accounting, stock option accounting and others as required.
Provide support for internal control requirements, including guidance on SOX.
Participate in departmental and inter-department meetings and provide accounting expertise and objective input into all operating decisions.
Development of financial information requirements and systems to improve the quality of information available to management which supports critical decision making.
Support system development to improve efficiency and productivity of the accounting and finance department.
Analyze external accounting changes and business events and inform senior financial executives of any identified issues which might have a significant impact on the Company’s operations.
