POSITION SUMMARY:

• Ownership of accounting functions, including month end, quarter-end, annual close and financial reporting
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of general ledgers, transactions, account reconciliations, and financial processes
• Perform Balance Sheet review and expense account reconciliation
• Record financial transactions promptly and accurately, adhering to GAAP and company policies
• Support preparation of monthly internal management and external reporting packages
• Design and implement accounting procedures that maintain strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support external audits by working with external auditors
• Have an eye for process improvements and implement across accounting/finance operations
• Provide ongoing support and training to Corporate Accounting and Accounts Payable teams
• Support recent ERP implementation integrations and improvements
• Research and advise as a subject matter expert on US GAAP Accounting guidance
• Maintain and continue to develop a strong working relationship with internal and external parties of the Company

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA required
• 5+ years of related experience, with minimum 2 years of supervisory/management
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP compliance
• Must exhibit strong technical skills utilizing new ERP platforms (Experience with NetSuite highly preferred)
• Adapt to change and be willing to build processes where needed
• Knowledge of technical accounting and reporting disciplines
• A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
