Our client is a prestigious, large, profitable, real estate company. As Director, Reporting, you will be responsible for all financial reporting, managing the audit from planning to issuance of the reports, being the main point of contact for business units and executives, as well as managing monthly and quarterly reporting to the Board and Executives. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and updating our existing technical documentation, as well as technical research, interpretation and documentation related to new accounting guidance.

• Research, analyze and conclude on technical accounting issues
• Monitor and ensure timely identification of evolving accounting guidance and potential impacts on the company
• Partner in managing external audit from planning phase to timely report issuance for multiple separate audit reports from different business units
• Review consolidated balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows on a quarterly basis
• Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
• Lead special projects on technical issues as needed, which have included, but are not limited to: accounting for discontinued operations, acquisitions and dispositions, restructuring programs and debt refinancing.
