A purpose-driven global nutrition and wellness organization is seeking a Director, Commercial Finance to partner with sales and marketing teams to drive financial strategy, profitability, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead financial planning for sales and marketing, including budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
- Analyze performance, providing insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Align financial goals with business objectives.
Sales & Marketing Finance Strategy
- Partner with sales and marketing leaders to develop revenue growth and customer acquisition strategies.
- Evaluate pricing, promotions, and sales effectiveness to optimize outcomes.
- Assess financial viability and risk of initiatives and campaigns.
Financial Performance Management
- Monitor sales and marketing performance against targets, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Report on KPIs including revenue, CAC, and marketing ROI.
- Build and maintain dashboards to support decision-making.
Financial Operations & Risk Management
- Oversee budget allocation, expense management, and financial controls.
- Mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Implement processes that drive operational efficiency.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to align financial goals with business strategy.
- Provide insights to support investments, resource allocation, and growth initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 10–12 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in commercial finance.
- Deep understanding of sales and marketing dynamics (pricing, forecasting, promotions, CAC).
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and profit analysis.
- Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communicator capable of presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring teams.
