A fast-growing, private equity-backed manufacturing company with over $250M in annual revenue is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead its global accounting function. With a century-long track record of innovation and a strong M&A growth strategy, the company is building out a world-class finance team to support its expanding footprint across North America, Europe, and Asia.This role reports directly to the CFO and can be based remotely, with a strong preference for candidates in the Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Financial Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across domestic and international entities. Oversee financial consolidations and ensure compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
  • Audit & Compliance: Manage global audits (including Big 4 firms), ensure robust internal controls, and maintain accounting policy compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a geographically dispersed accounting team with a focus on development, collaboration, and results.
  • Technical Accounting: Oversee application of complex accounting standards (US GAAP & IFRS), including lease accounting, transfer pricing, and M&A-related topics.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with FP&A and operations to support planning, reporting, and business decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

  • 15+ years of professional experience in accounting, including a mix of public accounting and corporate roles
  • CPA designation and deep understanding of US GAAP (IFRS/FRS 102 a plus)
  • Demonstrated success in managing international accounting operations
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or product-based company
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • ERP and financial reporting systems expertise (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Ideal Background

  • Big 4 or Tier II public accounting experience followed by experience, up to the Controller level (or equivalent) in a company with $200M+ in annual revenue
  • Hands-on experience with M&A integration, systems implementation, or PE-backed businesses
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation Target: Base salary up to $260,000 + bonus + equity
