Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity with a dynamic team? We are a leading line striping company in Saint Louis! We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Crew Leader to assist in the maintenance and installation of pavement markings, pavement markers, traffic signs, stencils, and other traffic control-related equipment.

 

The Crew Leader will ensure safety and quality control during multiple tasks associated with maintaining and installing pavement markings, pavement markers, traffic signs, stencils, and traffic control-related appurtenances. This role requires strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills with talent for managing teams to exceed performance goals.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Crew Management – responsible for all aspect of striping operations.
• Conducts striping applications on job sites.
• Drive, operate, and maintain heavy equipment in parking areas, playgrounds, warehouses, etc.
• Ability to operate walk-behind striping equipment.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications as required to lay out unmarked pavement markings.
• Establish project milestones within established guidelines and time frames.
• Able to maintain high professionalism with customers and co-workers.
• Able to handle multiple tasks to fulfill job requirements.
• Utilizing company software on mobile phone for job-related activities and maintaining records accurately.
• Attend (as required) the company-funded supervisory training with corporate HQ (Rochester, NY) staff in accordance with operational manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. Addresses problems or brings them to the attention of the Owner and Operations Manager.
• Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.

• Previous striping experience.

• Clean background and driving record.
• Knowledge of striping equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a problem solver.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
• Ability to listen and follow directions from supervisor.
• Professional appearance.
• Must have transportation to/from work.
• Pass a DOT Physical and drug test and remain drug-free throughout employment.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from work.
