A leading security solutions company is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Bookkeeper to take full ownership of its financial operations.

This hands-on role requires expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, cash flow management, and data visualization to ensure the company’s financial health and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking key financial metrics, optimizing QuickBooks Online, and designing real-time dashboards that provide leadership with instant access to actionable financial insights. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about driving financial clarity and process improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping and financial management, ensuring accuracy in QuickBooks Online, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable/receivable, processing payroll, and maintaining strong cash flow oversight.

  • Financial reporting and KPI tracking, preparing weekly, monthly, and annual reports, monitoring financial health across employees and departments, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts to drive informed decision-making.

  • Creation and data visualization, integrating financial and operational data from QuickBooks, Salesforce, and other systems to develop automated, real-time dashboards that offer leadership instant insights into company performance.

  • Process optimization and compliance will be a priority, requiring the streamlining of financial workflows, automation of reporting, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. The Senior Bookkeeper will also support external accountants and manage financial documentation.

Skills:
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting – Ability to extract and present key insights from financial data.

  • Tech-Savvy & Automation – Experience integrating financial tools and optimizing workflows.

  • Attention to Detail – Strong ability to track and manage multiple financial elements accurately.

  • Communication & Collaboration – Ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, with the ability to optimize and restructure it.

  • Experience in financial dashboard creation and real-time reporting.

  • Proven track record in cash flow management, collections, and financial reporting.

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of financial operations, and drive improvements.
