A well-established and growing benefits agency is seeking a Senior Benefits Account Manager to lead and support the management of mid-to-large market employee benefits clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned benefits professional with strong project management skills and a consultative approach to client service and strategy.
Prior experience with mid-to-large group benefits and self-funded plans is required.
The Job:
- Manage and grow a book of mid-to-large market employee benefits clients
- Lead strategic planning, client retention, and day-to-day servicing activities
- Deliver advanced consulting on plan design, underwriting, and funding strategies
- Participate in finalist presentations and promote World’s full-service value proposition
- Support onboarding, implementation, and renewal processes with carriers and internal teams
- Coordinate benchmarking, financial reviews, and deliver data-driven recommendations
- Advise clients on compliance, regulatory issues, and emerging benefits trends
- Oversee marketing efforts, negotiate renewals, and guide carrier selection
- Maintain accurate agency system records and ensure timely, proactive communication
