A client-centered and solutions-driven firm is seeking a Benefits Consultant to lead strategic benefits planning and client relationship management for a portfolio of mid-sized employers. This role is ideal for a confident advisor who excels at crafting tailored benefits strategies and driving client growth.
Prior experience in employee benefits consulting or strategic account leadership is preferred. Candidates must reside in New Jersey or the Philadelphia metro area—the role is fully remote, but regional presence is required for client alignment and occasional in-person events.
The Job:
Serve as the lead advisor and strategic consultant for a defined book of employee benefits clients
Build and maintain executive-level relationships, providing year-round consultation and support
Design benefits strategies that align with client business goals and workforce needs
Lead renewal planning, vendor negotiations, and benefits plan design discussions
Collaborate with internal account teams to ensure exceptional client experience and execution
Represent company in industry events and client presentations as a thought leader
