Business Development Executive

A Business Development Representative works to improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. This person builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. It is their job to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization. To achieve this, they need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. Business Development Managers will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. They call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs.


  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5+ years of successful sales experience (opening doors and closing deals)
  • Candidates must be coming from a true hunter role where they are generating many of their own leads and/or building a new book of business that brings approximately $5-$10M in revenue
  • Candidate must have some type of relevant experience in the Cosmeceutical, Nutraceutical, or Pharmaceutical industries
  • Candidates must be able to travel minimally 6 times a year including international travel
