Job Description:

This role is best suited for a hands-on, business-minded finance/operations professional who understands how money flows through a service-based business and enjoys applying accounting fundamentals to improve day-to-day operations, cash flow, and job profitability.

This is not a traditional controller or purely accounting role. Instead, it blends light full-cycle accounting ownership with a strong operational and financial management lens—partnering closely with division leaders to ensure invoicing discipline, AR/AP effectiveness, margin visibility, and cash flow optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with division leaders to gain visibility into invoicing practices, WIP jobs, expense allocation and margin performance in order to identify workflow gaps and process breakdowns.

• Establish structure and consistency across invoicing, AR, and AP workflows.

• Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend practical, value-driven improvements.

• Own or oversee month-end close, with a target close window within 5–7 business days.

• Ensure accurate and timely data flow between Jobber, Accelerate, and QuickBooks Online.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience)
