Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join the Chicago team. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing a strategic business plan that drives growth and fosters long-term customer relationships.

In this role, you will grow sales through networking and relationship building between new and existing customers as well as third-party influencers. The BDM ensures customer satisfaction from proposal through project completion. Works closely with interior design, sales support, installation team, and partner vendors to exceed customer expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment and has the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.

Responsibilities:


  • Strong emphasis on developing net new client relationships, while also supporting the growth of existing accounts through strategic account management.

  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop new and existing customers.

  • Prospect the local market for new furniture and architectural product opportunities through networking and cold calling.

  • Build and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending company and vendor-sponsored education and product workshops as well as through independent study.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base = $65k-$85k

  • Uncapped commission

  • Projected Year 1 Earnings: $100k+

  • Projected Year 1 Earnings: $120k - $160k
