Location: North Carolina- remote role Job Description: The Business Development Partner is a self-motivated, enthusiastic hunter who thrives on networking, relationship-building, and generating new business. This person is responsible for developing and nurturing a referral ecosystem of COIs—including CPAs, fractional CFOs, bankers, HR consultants, payroll professionals, and benefits brokers—to drive net-new revenue. Although the role is fully remote, the candidate must live in the Raleigh/Durham area to attend local events, networking meetings, and partner visits Responsibilities: Drive lead generation by developing, nurturing, and expanding referral partner relationships, supplemented with targeted cold lead profiling and outreach. Increase brand awareness and generate new business through networking events, social media engagement, online marketing campaigns, and other creative prospecting channels. Partner with the Director of Business Development to introduce, qualify, and nurture client prospects throughout the entire sales cycle—from identifying the lead, conducting initial discovery calls, creating proposals, and closing the sale. Collaborate with the Client Services team to ensure a seamless and successful handoff from sales to implementation. Compensation & Benefits: Base: $80 - $100K Annual commission at quota: 10% on first-year ARR, (uncapped) First year: additional $10,000-$15,000 (based on $100,000-$150,000 in new deals).
