Regional Manager - Austin

As we continue to grow in the marketplace, we have an Excellent opportunity for a motivated, hardworking, driven Regional Manager to lead our Central Texas Region, with offices in Austin and San Antonio, TX. You will be leading an established region with experienced sales professionals. The right candidate will have incredible growth opportunities continuing this success by building new business opportunities with construction contractors and developing the sales team. This position is about building the region through sales and marketing efforts while providing excellent customer service.

 

Expectations/Responsibilities

  • Professionally lead, manage and supervise your team of sales, service and administrative personnel.
  • Professionally manage our team of sales and service personnel.
    • Primarily a leadership position (80-90%).
    • There will be a small portion of sales and account management focused on OEM partners (10-20%).
  • Financial Performance of the Region
  • Oversee the operations of the stores throughout the defined territory.
  • Assist your sales team in identifying and closing business opportunities.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales specialists.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales updates and regional overview.

Non – Negotiable Requirements

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Candidate must have 5+ years direct sales and/or sales management experience with a successful track record of quote obtainment.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate on a technical level.
  • Candidate must be a quick learner and be able to quickly learn the business.
  • Candidate must have experience selling capital goods.
    • These products are capital expenditures.
  • Candidate must have a successful track record of hunting for new business and building a book of business from the ground up.
  • Candidate must be a team player and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Candidate will be based and operate from the Round Rock office when they are not travelling.
  • Candidate must be able to travel (by car) 50% of the time to get in front of team members and clients.

Compensation & Benefits

A Very Competitive Base Salary + Plus Strong Commissions + Bonus Structure!!

$100K base+ commission to get to $150-200K

No cap on commissions
