New Business Development Representative

ProActivate - Remote, Remote

Generate new revenue for the company by researching, identifying, qualifying, proposing, and closing new high revenue and strategic value OEM accounts, independent manufacture’s representatives and distribution channels, as well as new business by expanding product categories with existing and named key accounts. Provide onboarding, training, and co-selling support for manufacture’s representatives and distribution channels. Identify and validate opportunities in new markets and product groups. Support account onboarding and hand-offs to Account Representative Team. Support Account Representatives in growing and maintaining relationships with key clients, OEM accounts, and rep firms.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Candidate will have demonstrated 3+ years of successful selling experience
  • Candidate will have experience selling a high-value product and closing deals > $25K
  • Candidate will have a proven track record of success working remotely
  • Candidate will have experience working with Manufacture’s Representatives and Distribution Channels
  • Candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate will have a proven track record of success establishing and maintaining relationships and communication throughout an entire sales cycle of at least 3 months

     

  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to successfully hunt and prospect for new business
  • Candidate must have built a book of business successfully in a previous role
  • Candidate must have experience selling a high-value product
  • Candidate must be willing to travel 50-60% of the time

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base $65-100K DOE with expected OTE $80-100K (1st year) and $150K (2nd year)
  • Bonus for exceeding revenue requirements
  • Full Benefits, 401K Match 3% (even without employee contribution)
  • Profit Sharing up to 3%
