A well-established food processor is seeking a Director of FP&A to join their team based in Salinas. As a part of the shared services structure this position leads the budgeting, forecasting, implementation, and strategic analysis for the business with focus on continuous business improvement. The Director of FP&A conducts financial
analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. Works collaboratively with
the senior leadership team, and cross functionally to drive profitability within the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the annual budget and forecasting process, re-forecasting, and comparative variance analysis.
- Helps lead project around building a BI reporting platform
- Develops and implements strategic goals related to revenue planning, pricing, margin analysis to ensure profitability.
- Drives collaboration around revenue planning, pack plan, and overhead allocations.
- Performs analysis and reports on month-end variances.
- Works with the sales team to ensure customer profitability through sales pricing templates.
- Manges the KPI process to deliver actionable KPI reporting on a weekly basis with key drivers.
- Maintains “daily” updated reports/dashboards/workbooks for the company to manage the business.
- Provides Ad Hoc reports and analysis as needed for diligence, insurance renewals, etc.
- Supports month end closing activities focused around inventory, gross to net, and operating costs.
- Help support approving ACH and Wire payments weekly as needed.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in financial planning & analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
- Experience using Microsoft Office, ERP/Planning systems and business intelligence software
