Strong, growing produce company is seeking to hire a Category Sales Analyst as a member of the sales and marketing team. This position will be responsible for analyzing industry and consumer trends, developing long-term strategies for product categories, and maximizing consumer appeal through pricing, promotion, and product range management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Integrate Category Management into decision-making and goal setting.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify market opportunities and ensure cross-divisional strategic alignment based on product performance and market trend research and analysis.
- Maintain certain accounts
- Analyze data and insights to determine industry and consumer trends to inform marketing/sales activities & strategies.
- Provide training on leveraging data to full potential with internal teams.
- Assist in building presentations supported by strong data and targeted messaging.
- Build long term plan for insights development
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years working experience, produce industry preferred
- Analytical, creative, and goal driven.
- Ability to think from a consumer perspective and understand buying behavior.
- Up to date with the latest category management principles.
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into usable/actionable information.
- Strategic thinker, self-starter, developed organizational skills, and collaborative problem solver.
- Possess a solutions-oriented approach to challenges; independently identifying viable solutions, creating new approaches, seeking ideas and suggestions when appropriate.
- Adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, startup experience preferred.
- Enjoys creating systems and workflows to ensure constancy.
- Fosters teamwork across all levels of the organization.

Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000
