A well-established food manufacturer based in So Cal is seeking a Financial Controller that will establish and maintain the organization's overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies. Leads and directs the Accounting Department, presents findings, and recommendations to Management Team. Directs all analysis and reporting financials, including budgets, planning, and required filings. In addition, oversees the overall direction, and strategic initiatives to ensure business profits. Performs sensitivity and incremental cost/benefit decision analyses and audits. Builds financial models and provides analytical support for business initiatives and contract negotiations. Identifies, analyzes, and communicates trends and issues affecting the business. Working closely with the Accounting Team, Client Support Team, and the Executive Team.
Responsibilities
• Drive the company’s financial planning
• Identifying relevant insights and compiling analytical reports
• Forward-thinking forecasts based upon financial trends and research key components of analytical reports
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• Supervise all accounting personnel (AP, AR, Financial Analyst)
• Manage vendor relationships
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
• Manage Accounting Team
***SALARY (DOE) $120-$160K, BONUS, FULL BENEFITS, 401K, PROFIT SHARE, and more.***

Requirements/Experience
• CPA-preferred
• Minimum of 5 or more years of experience in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of Accounting in a manufacturing company is a MUST
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Strong research and analytics experience
• Good knowledge of accounting software, Great Plains.
• Meticulous attention to detail and work with tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Proficient in Tableau and SQL
