Seeking a Farm Manager to oversee operations on a farm that grows approximately 150 acres of row crops (including rice, corn, wheat, oats, etc). The Farm Manager will be responsible to oversee five seasonal employees.

Responsibilities:

• Select, train, direct and monitor employees involved in daily operations.
• Plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, apply chemicals and harvest crops in a timely and effective manner in accordance with good agricultural practices.
• Effectively report farm operations to supervisor.
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment.
• Oversee the maintenance of facility buildings and grounds.

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Agricultural experience.
• Ability to obtain a CA Private Applicators Certificate.
• Valid CA Driver’s License.
• Full time; up to 6 days and/or 60 hours per week.
