Strong, growing produce company seeking a strong candidate to fill their Director of Supply, Demand and Forecasting role. This position is crucial for ensuring their strong customer relationships and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement planning strategies to optimize commodity management.
- Align planning activities with long-term goals and market trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams for planning initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
- Oversee domestic and import supply management.
- Develop solutions for supply shortages and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead the team to develop accurate forecasts for sales, packaging, and commodities.
- Oversee and delegate order allocation strategy.
- Direct team to utilize data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Communicate planning strategies to the executive team.
- Collaborate with other departments for alignment.
- Represent the planning department in cross-functional meetings.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on planning performance.
- Resolve escalated issues and discrepancies.
- Perform other work-related duties and projects as directed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience of management, demand and supply planning within the agricultural industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to work well with others, strong organizational and communication skills, and service-focused attitude.
- Proficiency with Famous software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 DOE
