Job Summary:

Working with 3rd Parties to Plan, direct and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for the production of all products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. Design, integrate, or improve manufacturing systems or related processes.

Tasks:

• Direct production and processing operations.
• Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Review operations to resolve production or processing problems.
• Work closely with QA team.
• Order Allocation.
• Coordinate repack being cost accountable.
• Terminals, Ports and Facilities (Cold storage) daily communication to be on top of all executions.
• Maning EDI Files.
• Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations.
• Coordinate Trucking transfers, inbounds, outbounds.
• Train production personnel in new or existing methods.
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory audits.
• Always look at status quo to evaluate and determine if change would enhance operations.
• Review or create daily reports of inventory, allocation, repack processes in place.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma, College degree preferred or related experience

Experience Needed:

• 5-7 years Operations Management experience
• Fresh Produce experience, ideally on Imports.
• ERP experience, ideally Famous Software.
• Inventory Management and Allocation.
• Shipping – outbounds and inbounds
