  • A fast-growing, vertically integrated California Grower/Packer/Shipper is in aggressive growth-mode.
  • Looking for experienced produce sales talent to aggressively develop and manage retail sales programs.
  • This role will focus on expanding program and market sales to both national and regional retailers.
  • Our client has had impressive growth the last couple of years and have a 52-week product supply.
  • This company is well established in the Central Valley, with strong, retail focused branding concepts as well as innovative product varieties that retail customers are looking for. The table is set in many ways!
  • This opportunity is based in the greater Bakersfield, CA area. They’re looking for this person to be in the office fulltime but will entertain a hybrid arrangement for the right candidate.

Required Experience & Qualifications Include

  • Accomplished track record of developing and managing contracted retail sales programs.
  • Established customer contacts within retail and chain accounts.
  • Background utilizing syndicated data for customer sales.
  • Strong understanding of fresh produce markets, quality, seasons, supply base, production, and operations.
  • Our client is looking for a “Hunter” sales personality for this hire. Someone that wants to aggressively grow sales and develop new customers.
  • Routine business travel within the U.S. is required for customer visits/presentations and industry events. (Apprx 30–35%)
  • College degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related fields of study preferred or relevant job history.
  • Target starting salary range is $120,000 - $140,000, D.O.E. Strong bonus, performance incentives and full benefits are also included.
