A trailblazing, dynamic, rapidly growing, and innovative produce grower is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team. This position plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding market presence within the food service industry. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong passion for their products, a proven track record in sales and marketing, and proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights to optimize strategies. The Sales and Marketing Manager will utilize Power BI, our existing sales analysis tool, to extract insights and inform decision-making processes. Additionally, this role will involve frequent visits to customers, with a focus on the North East region, covering the East Coast and Mid-West territories. Traveling multiple days per month is a requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Utilize Power BI to analyze sales data and identify key trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct face-to-face sales meetings with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize strategies based on data insights.
  • Represent company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the food service industry.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
  • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making within the sales and marketing team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree-preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles within the food service industry.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar sales analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
