An established produce company is seeking a Senior Sales person with a strong customer base, 10+ years of successful account development and attaining new business.

The Senior Salesperson will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with mostly retail, with some food service and wholesale

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain new and existing accounts
  • Initiate customer visits and strengthen relationships with customers and prospects
  • Identify new accounts and secure new profitable opportunities
  • This position will work with management to develop strategies for growing a sales base
  • Communicate Market trends within the team
  • Maintain a weekly call log, for new and existing customers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 plus years of produce sales experience preferred
  • Good retail contacts/relationships, regionally and nationwide.
  • High level of energy, entrepreneurship and comfort working in a demanding high paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be organized, proficient in time management and have demonstrated knowledge in opening accounts and closing sales
  • Must be organized, professional and able to 'manage accounts' and service an account base
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills

Compensation:

  • Very Competitive Salary based on experience plus benefits
