The Vice President of Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain operations. Primary duties will include developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Will work closely with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment across departments, ensuring a seamless flow of materials, information, and resources throughout the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

Developing and executing supply chain strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.

  • Leading a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Establishing strong relationships with suppliers and partners to enhance collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain, implementing best practices to drive efficiencies.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to supply chain operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize production schedules.
  • Implementing risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP, CSCM) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on developing and empowering team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Knowledge of best practices in supply chain management, including inventory management, logistics, sourcing/purchasing, and demand planning.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive collaboration and achieve common goals.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and technologies, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive insights and improvements
