Overview:

• Location: The position is currently located in Fresno, California
• Reporting: The Application Engineer reports to the Operations Manager
• Nature of position: To provide technical support to all departments. Strong relationship with clients, customer service, sales, logistics, assembly.
• Market: Agriculture, Landscape and Irrigation Districts 

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to IR sales/customer service/assembly teams for valves, control systems, and all other products
• Provide technical support as well as troubleshooting to customers (dealers) and end users as necessary
• Troubleshoot and support automation services and product line
• Review requests for quotes and bids, assist CSRs with incoming sales calls
• Produce/update assembly and other drawings
• Maintain and manage IR technical document database
• Review and update bill of materials, including creating new part number requests
• Review and test RMA product returns, evaluate and determine restock/repair/return to supplier
• Other related duties as assigned to support business team

Requirements:

• Proven technical skills and background in agriculture irrigation
• Understanding / Experience in hydraulics and control systems
• Understanding / Experience of electronic control systems
• Irrigation Engineering degree
• AutoCAD capability / experience; SolidWorks familiarity is an advantage
• ERP system experience a plus
• High level of personal integrity and drive
• Ability to work as a team with employees worldwide
• Occasional day and overnight travel
