Description:
- A well respected and long-established Grower/Packer/Shipper in the Northeast is expanding.
- Looking for experienced sales talent to develop and manage new Onion sales within the Eastern U.S.
- This role will focus on developing their own customer base through existing relationships and then managing the day-to-day of those accounts, including arranging transportation.
- This company has growing operations in the Northeast and global sourcing relationships for 52-week supply.
- This opportunity is with a small, family owned & operated company with great performance incentives and healthcare.
- This role can be remote based within the Eastern U.S. With occasional travel to their operations in the Northeast
Required Experience & Qualifications Include
- Previous successful sales experience in the onion category is strongly preferred but will consider other, related produce categories.
- Established customer contacts in all business segments. (retail, wholesale, broker, foodservice, etc.)
- Strong understanding of fresh produce markets, quality, seasons, supply base, production, and operations.
- Our client is looking for a motivated, self-starter that wants to “win” and build something.
- Compensation is wide open for this role, DOE. ($65k - $150k) There can also be performance incentives like sales commissions and bonuses.
