A well-established produce company is searching for a Receiving QA Manager to join their team. The Receiving Manager will lead all daily inbound receiving procedures, daily inspections of inventory quality, and inventory counting. This person will also engage in strategic planning for establishing and maintaining new receiving and quality control procedures as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing all quality control, inventory counts, and product rotation.
• Manage product rotation to ensure First-In-First-Out for each product we stock.
• Scheduling of staff relative to volume trend data and manage productivity.
• Administers quality inspection of all incoming product utilizing USDA Good Delivery guidelines and standards.
• Ensure employees are following all SOPs, FSMA, USDA, HACCP, FDA, Primus GSF audit and compliance standards.
• Train, motivate, organize, and encourages teamwork.
• Ensuring health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2-3 years of produce experience.
• Warehouse inventory control experience.
• Previous management/supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, Receiving preferred.
• Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet and load them into a truck - physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo.
• Must posses knowledge of USDA “Good Delivery” guidelines and standards
• Licensed forklift operator 

Preferred qualifications but not required: 

• Ability to speak Spanish
• WMS Experience
• Food Safety certifications
• Licensed or Certified Forklift operator
