Overview: 

• An industry pioneer in Imported fresh produce seeks an accomplished Salesperson for their expanding team.
• This role will spearhead retail sales efforts (both programs and FOB) for Grapes, Citrus and other deciduous fruits.
• Our client is a year-round supplier for their categories and is highly regarded among retailers.
• This organization is an industry innovator that’s focused on being a solution-based partner for their customers.
• This position can be based in either the greater New York or Philadelphia markets.

Required Experience & Qualifications Include

• 5+ years of produce sales experience is required. (Citrus or Grape experience is welcomed)
• Strong experience/established relationships with retail customers.
• Knowledge of international fruit growing regions, quality characteristics and issues, shelf life, shipping & handling characteristics, import supply chain, pack styles would be very valuable, but our client is prepared to train the right sales talent.
  
• College degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related fields of study preferred or relevant professional experience.
