Inbound Coordinator / Receiving Manager

The inbound coordinator will fulfill a much-needed role within the company. The primary role of this position will be to coordinate inbound arrival times with loading teams, expedite necessary receiving needs, and maintain receiving efficiencies and proper receiving practices. The Inbound Coordinator will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Receiving Team, Receiving Office, Local Dispatch, and Purchasing Group.

  • Expedite Receiving
  • Resolve short item inquiries
  • Ensure Proper Allocation of Products
  • Conduct Weekly Inventory
  • Ensure Proper Labeling, Slotting, and Rotation of products

 Day to day as follows: 

  • Coordinate all inbound loads while ensuring that receiving functions are prioritized to current demand. Including, working with purchasers to ensure that all ETA times in the system are accurate as well as communicating with our local dispatch personnel to ensure that all orders are brought back in time for container cutoffs.
  • Work with picking and loading teams on any questions they have about product availability. If the product shows in stock, the inbound coordinator should be able to locate the product and return the product to its proper storage location, if necessary.
  • Make sure that all special inbound items to be Allocated are labeled and distributed appropriately.
  • Periodically check coolers that product is rotated and stored in its correct slot.
  • Maintain accurate inventory stocks daily, making sure any products not suitable for use are removed from current inventory.

At the end of each work week, conduct the Weekly Inventory Report. 

Skills Required:

  • Leadership Capability or Experience
  • Receiving
  • Inventory
  • ProducePro or similar software
  • Bi-lingual Spanish and English
