Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our footprint with retail chains, wholesalers, and independent grocers nationwide.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with buyers, category managers, and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities within the region and collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive position.
- Track key sales metrics, forecast performance, and deliver regular reports to senior management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our premium product lines and strengthen brand awareness.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in the produce industry
- Strong understanding of retail produce buying cycles, quality standards, and seasonal supply dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with retail supply chains, packing/repacking, and inventory planning.
- Proficient with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and passionate about fresh produce and retail growth.
- Experience in produce procurement/sourcing.
- Famous Software experience preferred.
